When can I order my letter from Santa?
Orders can be placed until 16 December 2008 (UK, Channel Islands and British Forces Post Office [BFPO] addresses only). The closing date to order a letter from Santa for the Republic of Ireland is 11 December.
Where can I have a letter delivered to?

Can I send a letter abroad?
We are sorry but we are only able to send letters from Santa to the UK, Channel Islands, BFPO addresses and the Republic of Ireland. This is a fundraising initiative to enable the NSPCC to support more children, so we are unable to send letters from Santa abroad due to the extra cost involved.
When will my letter be posted?
Letters from Santa will be posted from 1 December onwards. We guarantee to post the letters in time for the Royal Mail’s last posting date before Christmas, however please note we cannot accept responsibility for any postal delays – these are beyond our control.
If I order more than one letter to the same address, can you guarantee that they will all arrive together?
We will endeavour to post letters ordered together on the same day. Please be aware that letters do occasionally get separated in the post and therefore arrive on different days.
If I order letters for siblings of the same age, living at the same address, will they receive the same letters?
We have created two versions of the letters for children aged four and under, and two versions for children aged five and over, so if letters are ordered for two siblings of similar age, living at the same address, we will endeavour to send them different versions.
What happens if my letter does not arrive?
Letters will be posted from 1 December onwards and by the Royal Mail’s last posting date before Christmas. If your letter does not arrive by 19 December, please email santa@nspcc.org.uk
Can I order a letter via telephone?
Yes, you can order a letter on this website or by phoning 0870 325 9012.
What is the Baby’s First Christmas letter?

What language can I have my letter in?

How much does a letter cost?
The NSPCC suggests a donation of £5 per letter but you can increase this amount as much as you like. Find out where your money goes and how it helps us to end cruelty to children.
What payment methods are accepted?
If you are paying by credit/debit card, the following payment methods are accepted: Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Maestro UK, Electron. If you would prefer to order by post and you are paying by cheque or postal order please make it payable to “NSPCC Registered Charity”. Please do not send cash in the post.
Why should I Gift Aid my donation?
Gift Aid increases the value of your donation and is one of the simplest and most effective ways of giving to charity. Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, the NSPCC will receive an extra 28p from the Inland Revenue. This means that a £10 Gift Aid donation is worth £12.80 to the NSPCC. Please note you must be a UK taxpayer for your donation to be eligible for Gift Aid.
Will the child’s details be used for anything other than the letters from Santa?
The child’s personal data that you supply will only be retained for as long as is necessary for the purposes of posting the letter from Santa and will then be destroyed.
How will my donation help the NSPCC?
Every donation we receive goes towards supporting vulnerable children in the UK and Channel Islands. We have over 180 projects and services for children, young people and their families including the ChildLine service, Young Witness Support and Treatment and Therapeutic Services. Without the support of people like you, we would have to close our services within six months.
What is the NSPCC?
The NSPCC’s purpose is to end cruelty to children. Our vision is of a society where all children are loved, valued and able to fulfil their potential. Most of our work is with children, young people and their families. We also work to achieve cultural, social and political change - influencing legislation, policy, practice, public attitudes and behaviours and delivering services for the benefit of young people.
What is ChildLine?
ChildLine is the UK's free, 24-hour helpline for children in danger or distress. Trained volunteer counsellors comfort, advise and protect children and young people. The NSPCC and ChildLine have now formally joined together in a move that will ensure even stronger services and a more influential voice for children and young people. The ChildLine service, now within the NSPCC, still has the same telephone number – 0800 1111 – and children and young people can still call 24 hours a day and receive the same crucial help.
