ChildLine is the UK’s free, confidential helpline dedicated to children and young people. Trained volunteers are on hand to provide advice and support, by phone and online, 24 hours a day. Whenever and wherever children need us, we’ll be there.

£4 answers a child’s call for help on ChildLine
£25 pays for a trained practitioner to deliver one hour of support through the NSPCC Helpline
£50 pays for an hour of direct one to one support for a vulnerable child and their family
£124 could pay for a night-shift worker so that we can support children, often in desperate situations, who phone ChildLine in the middle of the night

Across the UK the NSPCC provides services such as 24-hour helplines, therapeutic centres and young witness centres - making a big difference to children’s lives.
But until every vulnerable child has the support they need, we will continue to develop our services and this is why we still need your help.
